Director of Product Development

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Be extremely hands-on
• Be a “Problem Solver”
• Manage 1 Product Development Coordinator as a direct-report
• Work closely with our Director of Design, Director of Marketing, and Director of Sales to launch new home textile collections
• Devise new processes, or refine exiting ones, to optimize our operations
• Works in conjunction with purchasing and sales department to ensure required fabric inventory levels
• Specifications (cutting/sewing/dyeing/finishing)
• Bills of Materials
• Item Set-up in SOS INVENTORY and SHOPIFY
• Performs other duties as assigned

REQUIREMENTS

• Proven management and leadership
• Excellent computer and IT experience and understanding
• Excel is a must and Photoshop and Illustrator are preferred
• Strong organization and attention to details
• Prior related-Industry experience required

COMPENSATION

• $100,000 Salary-Exempt, depending on experience
• Quarterly Performance Bonus
• 3-Weeks Paid Vacation
• Annual Performance Review
