The fabric is woven using a very thin 100 singles cotton yarn, which is what makes a true 400 thread count percale achievable. Each pillowcase is garment-washed and dyed using non-toxic dyes, giving it a light, soft crispness from the first use.

Thread count measures how many threads are woven into one square inch of fabric. In a percale, which uses a plain over-under weave structure, achieving 400 thread count requires extremely fine yarn, specifically a 100 singles cotton yarn.
