Linen works well year-round because it regulates temperature in two important ways, drawing heat away when you're warm and holding a bit of warmth when the room is cool, which makes it a year-round fabric rather than a summer-only one.

How do I care for MATTEO's linen products?

Machine wash on a lukewarm, gentle cycle with a cool rinse, separating light and dark colors. Skip bleach and any product containing chlorine, alpha hydroxy acids, or benzoyl peroxide. Tumble dry on low heat and remove promptly, or line dry for best results.

Does linen soften with washing?

Yes, noticeably. Our garment-wash process pre-softens the fiber before it ever reaches you, and it continues to get softer with each subsequent wash.
